This summer has been a difficult one for all of the Jewish Nation. The conflict in Israel reared it’s head yet again, and as a result, our flagship trip to Israel – TJJ – with close to 400 student participants had to be redirected to California.
Despite the fact that nothing can compare to Israel, the participants still engaged in a meaningful and worthwhile summer experience.

“Though it was not TJJ in Israel, TJJ West was a great runner up! Everyone had an amazing time hiking around the Grand Canyon in Arizona, sightseeing in Los Angeles and kayaking on the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. Along with an educational program, each day was filled with new activities, such as sorting food at the food bank for the needy. It was a summer that will not be forgotten!” – said Aliza English, Bus Director and Operations Manager.
