At a recent event at the Village Shul, A number of students representing NCSY’s leadership NEC group had an opportunity to hear from and meet with former US Senator Joe Lieberman, an exemplar of maintaining a Torah lifestyle while occupying a high ranking government position. Attending the event were Shir Dror, Aviva Doctor, Miriam Maes, Aaron Kingsbury, Rabbi Leib Irons, Aby Volcovich, and Sarah Wise. Rabbi and Mrs. Glenn and Hennie Black were also in attendance.
