Participants from Toronto, Thornhill, Ottawa and Montreal came together for NCSY’s annual New York Shabbaton on the weekend of November 22. Spending Shabbat in Stamford, Connecticut, over 200 participants heard inspiring words from former NFL football star and now Orthodox Jewish motivational speaker Alan Veinograd, and participated in several inspiring discussions, chaburot, and activities. Motzaei Shabbat featured an incredible Shabbat ebbing and havdala, as well as a fun night at the Sports Centre. More activities around New York City rounded out an incredible weekend for the participants.
